I-20 Wreck Update

There's new information concerning a deadly accident in Bossier Parish. One of the surviving teenagers tells authorities texting and driving was not the cause. Arien (Erin) Manshack and Megan Mote were killed when their car collided with an S-U-V and a tractor trailer. Two others, Justin Vernable and Jonathan Bartley are in critical condition at local hospitals. "He does have brain damage there was lack of oxygen going to the brain at the scene, we won't know the extent of the brain damage till he comes to because he has not come to yet," said Jonathan's mother Rebecca Bartley. Services for the two victims are set for tomorrow. Megan Mote's funeral is at 11AM at Central Assembly of God in Haughton. Arien Manshack's visitation begins at 9AM and the funeral is at noon at Shreveport Community Church. Burial will be at Centuries Memorial Park.
