I-49 Connector Community Meeting

Which way should the road to the future go? Residents in the proposed path of I-49 attended the last round of public meetings for the stage 1 environmental impact statement for the I-49 Inner City Connector. The purpose of the meeting was to give residents more information on the possible routes of the highway, and to give them an opportunity to voice their decision on whether to build or not to build in their community. State Representative Roy Burrell believes building the connector though the neighborhoods will help to revitalize them.
