Due to drought conditions throughout Bowie County, County Judge Sterling Lacy is issuing a burn advisory.

Fires can get out of control very quickly, therefore extreme caution should be used when burning outdoors or using fireworks.

Outdoor burning should never be attempted in windy conditions. if weather condition persist or worsen, a burn ban may be issued for the county. If weather condition persist or worsen, a Burn Ban may be issued for the county.
