Lafayette, La. LHC Group Inc. (Nasdaq:LHCG), in partnership with Texas Health Resources and Methodist Health System, has acquired 100 percent of the assets of Huguley Home Health Agency from Huguley Memorial Medical Center in Burleson, Texas.

LHC Group recently entered into a home health joint venture with Texas Health Resources and Methodist Health System in an innovative model that will significantly expand the post-acute care company's operations in the Lone Star state. Earlier this year, Huguley Memorial Medical Center entered into an affiliation with Texas Health Resources.

Huguley Home Health Agency, which will operate as Methodist HomeCare, provides care to patients in Johnson and Tarrant counties. The home health agency will continue to care for patients discharged from Huguley Memorial Medical Center, as well as those treated at other regional hospitals, physician offices and care facilities.
