Lawmakers endorse Greg Tarver

State representatives come together for a show of political support today for Louisiana State Senate candidate Greg Tarver.In a news conference this morning, state represenatives Patrick Williams, Jim Morris and Roy Burrell announced their support for Greg Tarver in the District 39 race.
The lawmakers cite Tarver's history of cooperation during his term in the legislature and his achievements in representing the constituents of District 39 as the reason for their support.
Tarver held the seat for 20 years and is one of two candidates challenging current seat holder, Lydia Jackson in the October 22 primary election.
