The Literacy Council of Bowie and Miller counties teamed up with Texas Roadhouse for fundraiser luncheon Thursday.
The Literacy Council is celebrating Literacy Awareness Month and are looking to the community for support to keep their free services to the public.
They're hoping to raise several thousand dollars.
"We've had so many cuts financially and the economy is so bad. We need more support than ever," said Robbye Magee, Literacy Council Executive Director.
