Local church to offer 'Blue Christmas' service

The Grace Community Church of Shreveport, located at 9400 Ellerbe Rd., will host a Blue Christmas Worship Service on Sunday, December 23 at 5:30pm.
The service will allow worshippers to acknowledge feelings of grief, sadness, loss, anxiety or despair in the face what is supposed to be a season of joy, energy, eager anticipation and delight.
The service will also feature blues music, candlelight sermon by Rev. Roger Templeton and options for prayer and counseling.
All members of the community are invited to attend.
