Local coach accused of inappropriate relationship with female student

DOYLINE, La. -

A Doyline High School track/cross country coach is behind bars, charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile.

Twenty-nine-year-old William Andrew Major was arrested and taken into custody by Webster Parish Sheriff’s detectives Wednesday.

Major is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a female student. Details remain sketchy.

No bond has been set. It is unclear whether Major has an attorney.
