An argument turned deadly when gunfire broke out between two men in West Shreveport Friday evening.
It happened at a home in the 3300 block of Milton St. in the Queensborough neighborhood just after 7p.m.
Shreveport Police say 35-year-old Joseph Butler shot and killed 51-year-old Larry Patterson during an altercation.
Officials say Butler pulled out a handgun and shot Patterson several times during the argument.
Butler initially fled the scene but later turned himself into authorities.
He's charged with one count of second degree murder.
