A hearing is set for today in Baton Rouge, after the coach of the Live Oak football team sues the Principal of Parkway High School and the Bossier Parish School District.
The coach is suing Dr. Nicole Bourgeois for libel, slander and defamation.
It was earlier this month when the coach was handcuffed and escorted off the field before a playoff game.
Parkway's principal said the coach violated a pre-appoved pregame schedule for his team to leave the field when Parkway's band was set to play.
In the lawsuit, the coach claims he suffered injuries to his arms, including bleeding, cuts, bruising and numbness, when he was cuffed.
Both schools had to submit reports to the Louisiana High School Athletic Association.
