Louisiana iris include five iris species that are native to our state. Many flowers colors are available. Late March through mid-April is the time when Louisiana iris normally bloom in Louisiana. They love being planted along water edges but do not need to be planted in water to be a good landscape performer. Louisiana iris work well in landscape beds with other herbaceous perennials.
