The dog days of summer are almost here and as the heat rises so does your electric bill. In 2007 a rule was passed in Louisiana that power companies can't shut off electricity to a customer when the wind chill dips below 32 degrees Fahrenheit or when the heat index rises above 105 degrees Fahrenheit.

Louisiana Public Service Commissioner Foster Campbell talked to Ed Walsh about energy bills and even how they relate to domestic violence. KTBS 3 First News Tuesday, June 3, 2008.
