Louisiana Sheriff's Association backs Landrieu

U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu has won the backing of the Louisiana Sheriff's Association in her re-election bid.

Landrieu's campaign said the sheriffs' group gave the Democrat their unanimous support.

Landrieu's main challenger is Republican state Treasurer John Kennedy.
