The Mansfield Police Department is investigating a disturbing assault case that happened late Tuesday night in the 1400 block of Regina Street.

The victim, a 76 year old female, had arrived home and was removing items from her vehicle when she was attacked and physically assaulted, while being forced into her home. A struggle and altercation continued inside the home where authorities say the victim appears to have been sexually assaulted.

The suspects are described as three African-American males. Two of the suspects were wearing black pants, one with a white shirt, and the other was not wearing a shirt.

This case remains under investigation. The Mansfield Police Department will offer a reward of $1,000 for information that results in the suspects arrest.
