A memorial service was held Saturday morning for one of the Airmen killed in the B-52 crash of the coast of Guam.

Friends, family members, fellow comrades and some people who did not know Major Chris Cooper filled St. Jude Catholic church in Bossier City to remember the fallen hero.

Tim Cooper says his brother was a "born leader. Who had dreamed of being a pilot since he was four years old."

Lt. Patrick Matthews, Commander 96th Bomb Squadron says, "He had a real zest for life. He was full throttle all the time. That was Chris. He loved what he did and it was infectious."

Cooper is survived by his father, Mike Cooper, and his younger brother Tim.
