FORT WORTH, Texas -- The North Texas man who killed his wife's lover after she falsely cried "rape" said he would "do it again" under the same circumstances.

Darrell Roberson said he thought his wife Tracy was being raped when he found her and Devin LaSalle embracing in a truck in front of the Robersons' Arlington home. Roberson said that when he heard his wife scream "rape" and saw the 32-year-old LaSalle trying to drive away, he felt he had no choice but to shoot him.

Roberson was arrested but a Tarrant County grand jury refused to indict him. A grand jury later indicted his wife, agreeing with prosecutors' belief that her actions led to LaSalle being killed.

A trial jury convicted Tracy Roberson of involuntary manslaughter and she was sentenced this week to five years in prison.

Darrell Roberson now lives in Frisco. He said he has forgiven his wife and has never considered divorce.
