A man is dead after getting hit by a truck in Goldonna. The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office says the 42-year-old victim was walking in dark clothing, with his back to traffic. This happened at the intersection of highways 156 and 479. The driver of a pick-up ran into the man. The driver stopped and called 9-1-1, but the man died at the scene.
