Mansfield Police Search For Shooter

Mansfield police are searching for the person who shot a man several times in DeSoto Estates.

The incident happened Tuesday night at 11:00 p.m. in the 600 block of Jacobs Street.
After responding to a call that people heard shots fired, officers found Aubrey Lacy, 32 of Center, Texas, with multiple gunshot wounds lying next to one of the apartments.

Aubrey Lacy was transported to LSU Health Center by DeSoto EMS. The victim's wounds did not appear to be life threatening.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black hoodie and black pants, last seen travelling on foot.
