Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover was scheduled to meet with Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal today about a new business venture.

Glover, who was attending a convention in Las Vegas, took a "red eye" flight to Baton Rouge for the meeting with the governor and his economic development chief.

Administration officials refused to disclose details about the economic development meeting.

Jindal would not provide specific, either, saying he wanted to provide confidentiality until a decision is made by the company. He said there were "several exciting economic development prospects, including some with significant employment potential."

Glover was in Las Vegas for the International Council of Shopping Centers convention. He is expected to return there after the meeting with the governor.
