The family, friends, and co-workers of Natchitoches Deputy Ricky Issac, Jr. are preparing to say their final farewells.
Issac, 24, was driving a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria late last week when his vehicle hydroplaned and traveled off the roadway, veered down an embankment and struck several trees before coming to rest.
The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office released the following statement following his death:

"Our hearts are heavy today as we prepare to part with one of our own. Ricky Issac was an amazing man, husband and deputy. "

A memorial for Issac will begin at 3:00p.m. with a service at 6:00p.m. Both Services will be held at the Events Center on Second Street in Natchitoches

Deputy Issac was on-duty when the crash occurred.
This crash remains under investigation.
He is survived by his wife, who is pregnant with their first child.
