Mena police say man's death is suspected homicide

MENA, Ark. -

Police in Mena say the death of a man found in a ditch in the city is being investigated as a homicide.

Det. Brandon Martin told the Southwest Times Record (http://bit.ly/VF0J69 ) that the body of 80-year-old Loyd Cole of Mena was found Monday.

Martin says a suspect is in custody -- but declined to release the person's name or other information about the case -- including the suspected cause of death or the motive.
