Military families experience a lot of transitions, moving, deployment, and even the death of a loved one; these changes are difficult for an adult to adapt to, but especially difficult for children. One local coalition is making an effort to ease the transition for children of military parents, one school at a time. Dr. Mary Keller, President and CEO of the Military Child Education Coalition, stopped by our studio to discuss the efforts of the coalition and the impact it can have on a military child's coping process.
