A mobile home is a pile of rubble after an early morning fire.

Crews in Harrison County were called to the home around 4:30am Tuesday.

The home was right behind the Elysian Fields Elementary School. The school was not damaged, but the home is a total loss.

A woman who claimed to be the mother of the mobile home's owner lived nearby. She told firefighters she didn't believe her son was home, and early this morning fire crews had not found anyone in the debris.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
