Most of the Gustav evacuees being housed in Shreveport and Bossier City are headed home. Buses have been leaving all day as local officials continued the lengthy process of emptying shelters across the area. At last check, about 650 evacuees are staying at Hirsch. Several buses loaded with evacuees who've been in Oklahoma stopped there for the night. It looks like it'll be Saturday before all shelters are empty. Local officials say they had no major problems at city-run and Red Cross shelters.
