Sheriff's officials have confirmed that Stacey Blount is in custody in Caddo Parish.

Natchitoches Police have charged the 28-year-old with car-jacking, resisting an officer by flight, aggravated assault and possession of stolen things.

Blount is suspected of kidnapping 68-year-old Rose Gonazales Coleman from a local casino early Saturday morning and dumping her body in the parking lot of the old AT&T plant on Mansfield Road in Shreveport

She then led authorities on a high-speed chase to Natchitoches, where she was apprehended.

Blount is expected to be charged with second degree murder in Caddo Parish.
