Two years ago Sunday, 5-year-old Anna Celeste Lowe's young life was cut short. Celeste was murdered by her stepmother Catherine Lowe. Recently, the negligent homicide charges were dropped from her father Wesley Lowe. Celeste's mother Jamie Mercer says she can't heal from her loss because of it.

"You think about it all the time," Mercer said. "I guess you try to figure out how you can pitch forward. I guess I'm not really motivated because of everything that's going on with the DA dropping Wesley's charges."

Catherine Lowe has been convicted of manslaughter and will serve 25 years in prison for the murder of Anna Celeste Lowe.
