The Northwestern State University Horn Choir will present a concert Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free. The public is invited. Dr. Kristine Coreil directs the Horn Choir.
The program will include well-known Christmas pieces "What Child Is This?" and "White Christmas" along with Kenneth Alford's "Colonel Bogey March," which was used in the film classic Bridge On the River Kwai. The Horn Choir will also perform "Battle Hymn of the Republic," "America the Beautiful," "Amazing Grace," Perrini's "Festival Fanfare" and Ewazen's "Grand Canyon Suite."
Members of the NSU Horn Choir come from Louisiana and Texas, and include students majoring in music, biology, art, education,communications, business and computer information systems
