Soldiers from across Louisiana were in Shreveport Sunday for a send off ceremony.
More than a hundred National Guard Soldiers with the 39th military police company said good bye to family and friends at the Municipal Auditorium. They are are expected to be gone for 400 days.
They will have two months of training in New Jersey before they head to Baghdad.
