A major company is going public with it's support for the Cyber Innovation Center in Bossier City.

The Staubach Development Group has made an offer for some property near the center.

The group will likely use the land for commercial development for firms coming to support the center and the Air Force's cyber activities at Barksdale.

"Those things are there.  They're not scheduled to go any where.  And there's national recognition of the importance of those components of the Cyber Command already being resident here in Bossier," said Craig Spohn, director for the Cyber Innovation Center.

The cyber research and development facility is expected to open next spring.
