New Orleans, LA -

It has been confirmed that eggs were thrown at the New Orleans Saints’ charter bus as they departed the ramp at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Wednesday night.  Airline workers were in the ramp area.  Airport and airline officials are investigating the incident, meanwhile, Atlanta Police will augment the airline security presence during the team’s departure.

Aviation General Manager Louis Miller emphasized that this behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

New Orleans Saints SVP of Communications Greg Bensel says that the Saints had boarded buses sitting next to the team plane on the tarmac when their vehicles were egged.
