Olympic Challenge promotes inclusion

SHREVEPORT, LA. -

SPAR and the Therapeutic Recreation Division partnered with Barksdale Air Force Base Saturday to hold the first annual Olympic Challenge which promotes inclusion.

The event is geared toward people with disabilities, their families and their friends.
Events included kangaroo relay, pass along and karaoke.

The Olympic Challenge seeks to foster camaraderie and team sportsmanship as well as promote inclusion among able-bodied and disabled people.

Over 200 disabled and 100 able people participated in the events.
