While kindle books are new and exciting to students, the costs to download the book titles can really add up quick.

But thanks to One Class at a Time, one Ark-La-tex Teacher will have more access to new reading book software.

Nashville High School teacher Lisa Wesson has about 60 students each semester. She's hoping to spark a love of reading with some new electronic books.

All of the 10th grade English teachers have a school budget to buy books for the kindles, but with four teachers it doesn't go far.

"The more books we can get into the hands of our students, then the better it is. They have really come and grown into our reading program and every book we can get into their hands really increases that knowledge that they need," said Wesson.

With kindle book prices varying between 99 cents to 10 dollars, Wesson is hoping to purchase one to two hundred titles.
