One Class at a Time Winner

Erin Wafford of Westlawn Elementary in Texarkana, TX, has a  special place in her heart for her students. 

"I love being around kids and I always wanted to be a special education teacher,"says Wafford. 

Wafford applied for the "One Class at a Time " grant after noticing that some of her students have a hard time participating  in things that require them to reach up or move around.

"I have several students who cannot come up the board and I would like to take the learning to them," Wafford told KTBS.

Wafford plans to buy an iPad or and Apple tv so that she can take the learning to them. By having the device in front of them  they won't have so much trouble and can participate more in class.

It's just one more way Wafford is looking out for her students One Class at a Time.
