Bossier City firefighters were busy early Thursday morning battling a house fire in the 900 block of Garden Street.

The house was vacant when the fire ignited. It took firefighters over an hour to get the blaze under control.

Fire investigators have not yet determined the cause of the fire but the circumstances are considered suspicious since there were no utilities connected to the structure. 

No injuries were reported.
