Bossier City, La. -

This morning around 10:30 am Parkway High School's first and second floors were flooded.

A custodian on the second floor was changing a light bulb when he lifted a ceiling tile which activated the sprinkler system, which caused the flooding. He has been taken to the hospital by private vehicle to be checked out.

There was no danger to students and no classes cancelled. It is a matter of clean-up. Lunch is still on schedule and afterward students will be temporarily housed in the two gyms while the fire department vacuums the water.
