Shreveport police this afternoon were searching for three young men who crashed a car into a house and then bailed out, running through the neighborhood.

Several children were playing in a room near where the car went into the house but they were not hurt.

It happened just before 2 p.m. in the 7900 block of Wyngate in south-central Shreveport.

Police said the car carrying the men was speeding down Wyngate when the driver lost control and crashed into the house near the carport.

No arrests had been made at mid-afternoon.
