As residents continue to pick up the pieces in Claiborne Parish following Tuesday morning's storms, repair continue to get power flowing once again to residents who've been left in the dark.
A spokesperson with Claiborne Electric Co-op says more than 13,000 customers were without power in the Homer area immediately following the storm. By Wednesday morning, that number was reduced to less than 3,000. Joey White with Claiborne Electric says all of them should have power restored today, with the exception of some extreme cases.
Some repair crews came in from as far away as Texas to help get the juice flowing again.
