The prosecution completed presentation of its case at 3 p.m. today (Friday) in the second degree murder case of Kimethia Coleman.

Court has adjourned for the weekend and defense witnesses will begin testifying Monday.

Judge Mike Pitman will clear his court docket beginning at 9:30 a.m. Monday; the Coleman trial is expected to resume around 10:30 a.m.

Coleman allegedly killed her boyfriend, U.S. Air Force Sgt. Brian Spinks.

Assistant District Attorneys Dale Cox and Ben Langford are prosecuting; Thomas Alonzo is attorney for the defense.
