Regions Bank in Shreveport will bring more than financial advice and great service to the area this week. In what has become a yearly tradition, bank associates will also be out in the community, working to Share the Good.
What is Share the Good? In one sense, it’s a company-wide focus on giving back to the communities the bank serves – through service, education, volunteering and more. Just as important, it’s an acknowledgement that the success of any community and the businesses within it are connected.
Share the Good Week runs from Oct. 22-26 for our Shreveport Associates.
A bank serves the community and is part of it at the same time,” said Mark Evans, Shreveport President. Our Share the Good week is all about acknowledging the good in this community, providing a helping hand and giving back.”
To celebrate this week of giving, Regions Bank will donate $1,000 to purchase DVDs for the patients CHRISTUS Sutton Children's Medical Center, Thursday, October 25, at 10 AM at the CHRISTUS Sutton Children's Medical Center Lobby/Entrance (under the Sutton Children's arch).
"Our Child Life team works to 'normalize' the hospital environment for patients of Sutton Children's, and letting them watch their favorite DVDs can be part of that process. Movies offer a welcome distraction and provide comfort to a hurting child. We are so grateful to the employees of Region's for their generosity.
“We are blessed to have community partners like Region's to help us provide the highest level of care to these children," said Kristen Gary, spokeswoman for CHRISTUS Sutton Children's Medical Center.
To view the check presentation, arrive no later than 9:45 AM for the ceremony beginning at 10 AM at CHRISTUS Sutton Children's Medical Center. The address is One St. Mary Place, Shreveport, LA 71101.
