A 19-year-old athlete who went missing in Lake Catherine earlier this week has been found.
The Garland County Sheriff's Office says a local resident discovered the body of James King Thursday morning in the lake near a dock.
Dive teams using sonar had searched for days for King, who disappeared during an outing with family and friends. Witnesses say he tried to swim from one side of the lake to the other but became fatigued, went under the water and never resurfaced.
King was a football standout at Malvern and attended Southern Arkansas University.
His body will be sent to the State Crime Laboratory for an autopsy.
