Road conditions update in Bossier City (1:35p.m.)

The City of Bossier City has no roads or bridges closed at this time.
The LA DOTD still has I-220 and the Benton Road Railroad Overpass closed.
The city’s one sand truck made a few runs this morning sanding the Texas Street Bridge, Shreveport-Barksdale Bridge and the Shed Road Overpass at I-220 due to icy conditions.
From 7am until 10 am, BCPD worked 14 non-injury motor vehicle wrecks and 1 injury motor vehicle wreck. The injury was minor and did not result in a transport to a hospital. There have been no wrecks reported since 10 am.
