ROGERS, Ark. -

Police in Rogers say an electrical problem caused a tornado siren in the city to accidentally go off.
The Springdale Morning News (http://bit.ly/YMKqcm ) reports that the siren behind an elementary school on the city's west side activated, then turned off on its own about five times Wednesday morning.
The siren went off a day after a wintry mix of light snow and freezing rain fell in the area.
Police spokesman Keith Foster says phones at the Rogers Central Dispatch were "ringing non-stop" but that there is no severe weather forecast for the area Wednesday.
