Nearly two dozen suspected drug dealing gang members in Webster Parish went straight from bed to jail Thursday morning. Authorities were targeting members of "The 4-thousand Clique", one of the largest gangs in the Cullen-Springhill area.

In Longview, Texas, more than thirty members of "The Davis Street Gang" and "12th Street Crips" were arrested for drugs and weapons.

Cpl. Tedris Smith is with Shreveport's gang-intelligence unit. He says a lot of gang members have relocated to small towns because they've been forced out of big cities.

Smith says Shreveport, is by no means "gang-free," but since he started in the unit twelve years ago, he's seen a huge decrease.
