Police need your help in identifying and apprehending a suspect who robbed a west Shreveport hotel Monday afternoon.

At approximately 1:46 p.m. Monday, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Days Inn hotel in the 4900 block of West Monkhouse Dr.  

An on scene witness told investigators that a black male suspect, wearing a camouflage jacket and a red baseball cap entered the hotel and pointed a handgun at the clerk.

The suspect then fled the scene after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.

Witnesses tell authorities that they observed what appeared to be a maroon colored four door Lincoln, possibly a Town Car, leaving the business parking lot moments after the suspect fled from the lobby.  

Detectives have recovered surveillance video of the robbery that will be released upon it’s complete processing.
