SPD searching for gunman in Sunset Acres shooting

SHREVEPORT, La. -

Shreveport Police are on the hunt for a suspect who shot a man in the back.

Police were called to a home in the 3200 block of Valley View in the Sunset Acres neighborhood just before 7 p.m. this evening.

Authorities say 19-year-old Anthony Young was suffering from a gunshot wound to the back when they arrived at the home.

The shooting, however, happened at a different location.

Young was taken to LSU Health with non life-threatening injuries.
