Officials at Southern University Shreveport want students to know the money is on the way.
We received several calls from students who told us they had not gotten their finical aid payments.
We talked with school officials today who told us students should have their money by Friday.
The delay is being blamed on hurricane Issac.
Students have to be in class 14 consecutive school days before the money is issued.
Because the school was closed for two days due to the hurricane that has delayed payment.
Southern also started the fall semester later than some area colleges.
