Salvation Army requesting donations & volunteer bellringers

SHREVEPORT -

The Salvation Army is short $50,000 from it's much need Christmas Kettle fund-raiser. Please give generously to help us help others.

The Salvation Army is in desperate need of volunteer bell ringers. Please Call 424-3200 and ask for the Volunteer Coordinator.

They need volunteer organizations, church groups, associations, schools etc.. to pick a location to ring the bell for The Salvation Army.
A group of 12 is needed to help at a location for a total of 8 hours on Saturday, December 22, 2012.
The group is needed from 9:00 am-6:00 pm.

It costs the Salvation Army $ 3.5 million a year to operate it's many year round programs: Social Service, Shelter, Seniors, Emergency Services and The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club.
