North Louisiana Economic Partnership Names New President
The North Louisiana Economic Partnership (NLEP) announced Tuesday that Scott Martinez has been selected as the new president following an intensive two month long nationwide search.
Martinez has 14 years of economic development experience in Texas and Mississippi. He most recently worked as the Executive Director of the Hutto Economic Development Corporation, which serves the fastest growing suburb outside of Austin, TX. He will take over as NLEP President on January 2, 2013.
NLEP is a non-profit economic development marketing organization, promoting 14 parishes in North Louisiana as a desirable and profitable business location. The NLEP and its many partners work with both existing companies and prospective employers to encourage incremental capital investment and job creation as a way to build a strong and thriving economy.
