Seven Injured In Wreck On East Kings Highway

East Kings Highway Wreck
Shreveport, LA (KTBS) -

Seven people were transported to area hospitals, including three kids, after a three car wreck on East Kings Highway Friday.

The accident happened shortly after noon on Friday at the intersection of East Kings Highway and Beverly Place.

Authorities believe that heavy traffic contributed to the three car rear-end collision. Shreveport Fire Chief Scott Wolverton tells KTBS 3 News that none of the injuries are critical.

The right lane of east bound traffic on East Kings Highway is temporarily closed. Officials expect the lane to reopen shortly.
