More positive steps today for a little girl rescued after nearly drowning at a Shreveport pool.

Cheers and tears of joy greeted Shelby Patrick as she returned home today. Shelby's spent the last few weeks at a rehab facility in Dallas.

It was just over a month ago, that she was pulled from the bottom of a pool at the Eastridge Country Club.

Today, the family expressed thanks for the outpouring of support from Shelby's friends and classmates, and even total strangers.
   
Shelby will have to undergo outpatient therapy for the next few weeks.
